Vikings' Jerick McKinnon misses practice
Brace Hemmelgarn / USA TODAY Sports
Minnesota Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon was absent from practice Friday.
McKinnon has been playing through a back injury for several weeks now, but has always managed to participate at Friday practice. It's possible he suffered a setback last weekend or at practice this week.
If McKinnon is unable to play Sunday, the Vikings may be forced to give recent acquisition Ben Tate a significant role in the offense.
