Fantasy Footnotes: Julio Jones has career day; Jordy Nelson lights it up
Every gameday during the regular season, theScore's fantasy editors recap the most important news and notes from around the league.
Julio Jones goes over 250 yards
After a couple of down weeks in mid November, Julio Jones would like to remind us he is difficult to stop.
The Atlanta Falcons receiver made his 189 yards and a score from last week look like pedestrian Monday, going off for 259 yards with a score versus the Green Bay Packers.
With the Falcons' defense being so poor, it's only helping Jones. The Falcons are constantly playing from behind and forcing the offense to air it out.
Jordy Nelson continues to score
You'd be hard pressed to find a receiver more consistent at finding the end zone than Jordy Nelson this season.
Nelson tallied 146 yards on eight catches, but most importantly scored twice.
He's now recorded at least one touchdown in nine of 13 games this season.
Other Notable Fantasy Lines
Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers
24-of-36 for 327 yards, 3 TDs
Rodgers easily picked apart a weak Falcons defense.
Eddie Lacy, RB, Packers
13 carries for 73 yards, 1 TD, 5 catches for 33 yards, 1 TD
James Starks vultured a touchdown away, but Lacy more than made up for it.
James Starks, RB, Packers
10 carries for 75 yards, 1 TD, 2 catches for 26 yards
Starks actually outrushed Lacy on the night and received several carries as the Packers were trying to run out the clock.
Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons
24-of-39 for 375 yards, 4 TDs, 1 INTs
Ryan tossed four scores for the first time this season, as he racked up a ton of points in garbage time.
Steven Jackson, RB, Falcons
16 carries for 50 yards, 1 TD, 2 catches for 26 yards
Jackson reached the end zone for the fourth time in six games.
Injury Ward
Julio Jones, WR, Falcons
A hip injury put a damper on Jones' dominant performance. Hopefully he doesn't have to miss time, but you never know with the Falcons being on a short week. Keep an eye on his status over the next few days.
Waiver Wire
Harry Douglas, WR, Falcons
If Jones can't go next week, Douglas might be a serviceable option if you are desperate. He hauled in a touchdown after Jones went down.

James Starks, RB, Packers
As mentioned earlier, Starks surprisingly ran for more yardage than Lacy on the night. His 10 carries were his second most he's had this season and if the Packers are trying to preserve Lacy somewhat for the playoffs, Starks might see a few more touches in the final weeks.
