Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson has become the latest athlete to take a stand against Eric Garner's death.
Jackson showed off a custom pair of cleats Thursday with the words "I CAN'T BREATHE" on the toes, a nod to Garner's last words. Garner died July 17 following an altercation with police officers in Staten Island, N.Y.
The Redskins' star is considered a game-time decision heading into Sunday's contest against the New York Giants, but he'll wear the shoes if he plays.
