Chargers' Ryan Mathews will not play Sunday vs. Chiefs
The San Diego Chargers will have to fight for a playoff spot without starting running back Ryan Mathews on Sunday when they travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs.
The oft-injured Fresno State product did not practice this week and has been dealing with an ankle injury since early December.
Branden Oliver will carry the load for the Chargers in a must-win game, with Donald Brown chipping in some carries.
