If the Chicago Bears decide to go with John Fox as their new head coach, he and former Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan could come as a package deal.
Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reported that as the Bears' coaching search moves forward, Fox may be positioning himself to pitch Shanahan as one of his top choices for offensive coordinator.
Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times also reported that the Fox-Shanahan connection is a "very real" possibility:
Like others have tweeted and written, the John Fox-Kyle Shanahan connection for the #Bears is very real, source says. Would be great combo.
