The Panthers have signed Hill to a futures contract, the team's official site reports.
Analysis:
Hill, who spent the 2014 season on the Carolina practice squad, was second-round pick by the Jets in 2012, but so far his intriguing blend of size (6-4, 215) and speed has yet to result in consistent NFL results for 23-year-old wideout, who New York waived prior to the start of this past season.
