Jets hire Pepper Johnson as defensive line coach

The New York Jets have hired Pepper Johnson as their new defensive line coach.
The team announced the addition to rookie head coach Todd Bowles' staff Saturday, a day after officially introducing eight new assistants.
Johnson is a highly respected defensive coach, who worked with the New England Patriots from 2000-2013 and as the Buffalo Bills' defensive line coach last season.
