Kam Chancellor says Dan Quinn hasn't mentioned Falcons HC job
It appears inevitable that Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will accept the Atlanta Falcons' head coaching job after Super Bowl XLIX.
That's news to his players, though.
Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor expressed surprise about the impending development at his press conference Monday.
"He hasn't said a word. This is first I heard of it," Chancellor told reporters.
Quinn has led the Seahawks to the top of almost every major defensive category over the past two seasons, and is expected to take over the Falcons on Feb. 2.
Although Quinn can't formally recruit players to the Falcons yet, he is rumored to be going after linebacker Malcolm Smith and cornerback Byron Maxwell, both of whom will become free agents after the season.
