Aaron Rodgers wins NFL MVP award
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won the NFL MVP award for the second time in his career Saturday night, edging out Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt.
Rodgers threw for 38 touchdowns against five interceptions to lead the Packers to the NFC Championship game.
The superstar rattled off a five-game stretch when he threw 16 touchdowns and no interceptions, helping Green Bay clinch a first-round playoff bye.

Watt had the best defensive season since Lawrence Taylor's MVP campaign in 1986, and Rodgers spoke about how difficult it is for a defensive player to capture the league's top individual honor.
"That's tough. It's an offense geared league. It's going to be tough," Rodgers said upon winning the award.
Rodgers won the award for the first time in 2011.
