Rams announce Frank Cignetti as new OC, Rob Boras as assistant head coach

The St. Louis Rams officially announced promotions for Frank Cignetti and Rob Boras on Thursday. 

Cignetti will move from his old role as quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator, replacing the departed Brian Schottenheimer. He will reportedly handle the team's play-calling duties.

Boras will take the leap from tight ends coach to assistant head coach-offense.
