Titans not ready to commit to Zach Mettenberger as starter

The Tennessee Titans feel good about second-year quarterback Zach Mettenberger, but won't rule out using the second overall pick in the draft to take a passer.
"We like Zach (Mettenberger) but we're not ready to commit to anything yet," general manager Ruston Webster said Wednesday at the scouting combine.
The general consensus is the Titans will pass on drafting a quarterback like Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota with their first-round pick and instead focus on adding defensive talent.
Mettenberger, a sixth-round pick in 2014, passed for 1,412 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions in seven games played as a rookie.
