Bersin has been tendered a one-year contract that will see him remain with the Panthers next season.

Analysis:

Bersin made the Panthers' roster following a strong training camp showing last year and went on to catch 13 passes for 151 yards and one touchdown. The local product also returned 14 punts. However, with the Panthers expected to sign a similar player, Ted Ginn, come Tuesday, Bersin could face added competition for both roles heading into next season.
