Ben Grubbs has only been a Kansas City Chief for one day, but he already has himself a new contract.
Grubbs signed a new four-year, $24-million deal with Kansas City on Friday, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
The New Orleans Saints shipped Grubbs to the Chiefs after he refused to take a pay cut, according to Florio.
Grubbs started every game for the Saints over the last three seasons and earned Pro Bowl nods in 2011 and 2013.
He typically plays the left side and would be helpful beside tackle Eric Fisher, who is a former No. 1 pick. Fisher has struggled to develop in his first two years in the league.
