The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed defensive end Chris Canty to a two-year contract, Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Canty was released by the Ravens last month in a move that saved the team $2.66 million against the salary cap. According to Wilson, Canty's new deal is worth $4.65 million.
Canty, 32, spent the previous two seasons with the Ravens after splitting the first eight years of his career between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Canty made 33 tackles and half a sack in 11 games played last year. He could play a bigger role for the Ravens in 2015 with Haloti Ngata moving on to the Detroit Lions.
