Electronic timing reportedly leading to slow 40 times at Veteran Combine

Nobody expected any player to post a blazing 40-time at Sunday's NFL Veteran Combine, but many of the results were surprisingly slow.
One of the reasons for that could be the fact the league was using electronic timing to record the results, instead of the hand system they use at the scouting combine, according to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports.
Robinson added that the times will likely be adjusted .1 to .2 seconds faster to compensate for the discrepancy, hopefully bringing some back from the edge of despair.
Even with this revelation, the majority of times will still be anything but eye-popping.
