Greenway agreed to a $3.6 million pay cut for 2015 and will remain with Minnesota, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Greenway will now be paid $3.4 million with $1 million guaranteed for 2015, down from the $7 million he was originally set to make. He can make up to $4 million through bonuses. The move will create $3.22 million in salary cap space for the Vikings. Greenway was a candidate to be released if he didn't agree to a pay cut as he started to break down at age 32, missing four games due to hand and rib fractures and a knee injury. He's said he's completely healthy after suffering a strained MCL injury in the second to last game of the season.
