The Baltimore Ravens have signed quarterback Matt Schaub to a one-year contract worth a reported $3 million.
Baltimore was in the market for a backup quarterback after losing Tyrod Taylor in free agency. The New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons also expressed interest in Schaub, who was released by the Oakland Raiders on March 16 after one season with the team.
Schaub has thrown for 24,311 yards, 130 touchdowns and 86 interceptions with an 89.5 quarterback rating since entering the NFL in 2004.
