Michael Crabtree's quest to find a new team is over.
The free-agent wide receiver agreed to terms with the Oakland Raiders on Monday night. Crabtree reportedly also had interest from the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens.
Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting it's a one-year, $3-million deal with $2 million in incentives.
Oakland needs more depth at receiver and Crabtree fits the bill. Other than James Jones, who had a solid season with 73 catches, no Raiders wideout had more than 20 receptions in 2014.
With Derek Carr heading into his second season, the Raiders need to surround him with more weapons if they hope to see him continue to grow behind center.
Crabtree appeared to be finally reaching his potential when he hauled in nine touchdowns and 1,105 yards in 2012. But injuries and inconsistent play saw him fall out of favor with the San Francisco 49ers.
The Raiders will likely add another pass catcher in the draft at some point.
