Report: Retired Chiefs tight end Sean McGrath reinstated from reserve list, waived

Retired Kansas City Chiefs tight end Sean McGrath was reinstated from the reserve/did not report list Wednesday and was promptly waived, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan. 

McGrath retired in July 2014 after stints with the Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks.

Now, his agent says McGrath is planning a return to football, according to Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Star.
