Report: Cowboys sign punter Chris Jones to 2-year extension

The Dallas Cowboys have signed punter Chris Jones to a two-year contract extension, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

The punter out of Carson-Newman University recently signed his restricted free agent tender and is now under contract to the team through 2018.

Terms of the deal will reportedly pay Jones $4.2 million, with $750,000 guaranteed, over the three years.
