La'el Collins's draft stock continues to tumble amid the legal troubles surrounding him.
The former LSU offensive tackle has agreed to speak with the Baton Rouge police department regarding the shooting death of a pregnant woman, but the interview won't take place until after the draft, corporal Don Coppola told NFL Network's Albert Breer. A date and time has yet to be determined.
Breer's colleague, Ian Rapoport, adds that police have yet to complete their investigation and are not ready to interview Collins at this point.
The victim, 29-year-old Brittany Mills, is believed to be Collins's former girlfriend. He is not considered a suspect in the shooting.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier Thursday that multiple teams believe Collins won't be drafted, and Breer reported similar findings:
Lack of closure on this is certainly hurting Collins now. Talked to several teams who won't touch him tonight as a result of it.
