Tevin Coleman: Picked By Atlanta
The Falcons selected Coleman in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, 73rd overall.
Analysis:
Coleman will be an interesting player to monitor. He'll be a classic test of aesthetic scouting versus results-based scouting -- the criticisms of Coleman are exclusively limited to film, as his workouts and production variables are of elite grade. Coleman pretty much matched the rushing production of 15th overall pick Melvin Gordon in an inferior Indiana offense last year, but film criticisms referred to him as stiff and lacking power between the tackles. Coleman tied for the FBS lead in 40-plus-yard runs in 2013 before running for 2,036 yards (7.54 YPC) and 15 touchdowns in 2014, so his numbers were no fluke. Devonta Freeman probably can't keep Coleman on the sideline, so Coleman will be a very interesting fantasy consideration with Steven Jackson gone.
