Report: Tom Brady to be suspended next week
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be suspended next week due to the findings of the Wells Report, according to the New York Daily News' Gary Myers.
Brady could be facing a two-game suspension but the length of the punishment is still yet to be determined, according to Myers' report.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP appeared in a press conference at Salem State University, denying any culpability in the Deflategate scandal to great fanfare.
Wells determined "it is more probable than not" that Brady was aware the Patriots were intentionally deflating footballs to a level past the league's minimum threshold of 12.5 to 13.5 pounds per square inch.
Brady allegedly did not cooperate with the investigation's request to provide more information. Two Patriots staff members were revealed to have shared text messages about Brady demanding footballs to be pumped to a certain level, as stated in the Wells Report.
