Broncos claim Solomon Patton off waivers

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Solomon Patton was claimed off waivers by the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Patton will likely get a chance to compete for a receiver job with the Broncos in training camp, but his chances of cracking the 53-man roster are better if he proves he can contribute on punt and kick returns.
