Report: Falcons' Joplo Bartu has 2-game suspension rescinded, receives $50K fine

Atlanta Falcons linebacker Joplo Bartu's two-game suspension has been reduced to a $50,000 fine, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Bartu was initially suspended after he pleaded no contest to driving under the influence. Any player with an unresolved DUI after Nov. 1, 2014 was subject to a two-game suspension under a new league policy. Bartu went before the judge after that date, but reached an agreement to resolve his case on Oct. 30.
Once he presented paperwork to the NFL supporting the October agreement, his suspension became just a $50,000 fine.
Bartu was a key member of Atlanta's defense in 2014, starting 14 games and making 82 tackles.
