A quartet of high-profile Seattle Seahawks players are absent for the start of OTAs on Tuesday.
Quarterback Russell Wilson and tight end Jimmy Graham are away tending to a "personal matter," Danny O'Neil of 710 ESPN reports.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Graham's manager and mentor Tammy Meyerson recently died.
The Seahawks were reportedly made aware of Wilson and Graham's absences ahead of time (though the players had no obligation to do so, as OTAs are voluntary).
Pass-rushers Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett are also absent for OTAs. Avril is dealing with the death of his father and Bennett is believed to be seeking a new contract.
