Report: Russell Wilson's agent sent Seahawks 16-page letter on contract position

The agent for quarterback Russell Wilson has introduced an interesting tactic into his contract negotiations with the Seattle Seahawks.
Mark Rodgers, a baseball agent, sent a 16-page letter to the Seahawks explaining his position, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. These types of letters are common in baseball, but as Rapoport notes, football negotiations are never as formal, making this a unique approach.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that Rodgers routinely uses position papers in all of his significant baseball negotiations.
Wilson is due to make $1.5 million this season in the final year of his rookie deal.
