Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are one of the most potent passing combinations in the NFL, but their relationship got off to a rocky start. Or at least that's what the tight end thought.

A portion of Gronkowski's book "It's Good to be Gronk" details the early stages of their relationship.

"Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback that I had been watching on TV since middle school actually introduced himself to me," Gronkowski wrote via the Boston Herald. "I couldn't know it at the time, but that would end up pretty much the nicest he was to me over the entire year. ... If I made a mistake, Tom would blast me. In the meeting rooms he was super tough on me. I thought he didn't like me."

The two New England Patriots are clearly on the same page now, with Gronkowski hauling in 54 touchdown passes in his first five campaigns.
