Jaguars unveil NFL's 1st emoji keyboard (for some reason)

Phil Sears / USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars unveiled the NFL's first ever emoji keyboard Wednesday.

Fire. Fire. Cat. Fire.

The keyboard is available via an app. It includes emojis of Jaguars players like Blake Bortles, Paul Posluszny and, of course, the team's mustachioed owner Shad Khan.

The Jaguars have proven to be among the NFL's most progressive thinkers, both in their use of football analytics and also in that they put a freakin' pool in the stadium.

This, though, may be a little too far on the side of campy. Does anyone really need a Paul Posluszny emoji? Have you ever felt a specific emotion that only a cartoon of 30-year-old middle linebacker with average skills can convey?

If you're one of the few who actually has use for a Jaguars emoji keyboard, the app can be downloaded for Android here and for iOS here.
