Undrafted free agent running back tweets highlights to Chiefs, gets signed
Who says Twitter is a worthless wasteland of bad jokes, pictures of what people are eating for breakfast, and the occasional breaking news tidbit from Adam Schefter?
LaVance Taylor, an undrafted free-agent running back out of Division II Central Missouri, tweeted a YouTube video of his highlights to the Kansas City Chiefs (among several other teams) on Wednesday and the very next day the Chiefs announced they were signing one LaVance Taylor.
@KCChiefs hey my name is LaVance Taylor and I am currently a free agent and I wanted you to check me out.

Sure, Taylor is an extreme long shot to make the team, but he already has a story that will last a lifetime.
And if this pro football thing doesn't work out, Taylor probably has a career ahead of him in social media promotions.
