Marcus Mariota 'upset' after fumbling his way through preseason opener
Marcus Mariota's much-talked-about interception streak is dead.
The Tennessee Titans' rookie quarterback threw an interception on his third pass of the team's preseason opener Friday, putting to rest the notion that he is completely infallible. He then promptly fumbled.

On the his next series, things got worse for Mariota as a sack-fumble led to an Atlanta Falcons touchdown.
As rookie counterpart Jameis Winston noted this week, linebackers in the NFL are hard to read, but the second-overall pick felt the mistakes were preventable.
"You lose games because of turnovers, and I was upset with myself because both of those I could control," Mariota said following the game.
The Titans may want to start thinking about the rookie's confidence as backup Zach Mettenberger fared much better during the game, ending up with 129 yards passing, one touchdown and one interception.
