The Seattle Seahawks' decision to trade Percy Harvin last season was followed almost immediately by reports of the wide receiver's anger management issues and run-ins with teammates Doug Baldwin and Golden Tate.

Harvin, who opened up about his Seattle tenure in a recent interview with Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News, said Baldwin and Tate were threatened by his arrival and created a hostile environment.

"It was a constant thing," said Harvin, who now plays for the Buffalo Bills. "It was something that got under my skin. I felt like they were acting like kids."

Things eventually came to blows between Harvin and his fellow receivers. The Seattle Times reported that Harvin gave Tate a black eye prior to Super Bowl XLVIII, and was involved in an altercation with Baldwin in August 2014 that resulted in a cut on Baldwin's chin.

"Everybody calls him, 'Tough Doug' or 'Angry Doug,'" Harvin said of Baldwin. "That was one of the times, he tried to use me to show he was a tough guy. I tried to walk away and he came back. It got messy. And I think what happened was the best for me."

Harvin has high expectations for his first season in Buffalo, and is keeping his focus on the field.

"It's finally time to reach the potential of where I think I am," he said. "I said before I got here, this would be the year I put it all together. No off-the-field troubles. Not that there was off-the-field troubles, but no calling my name for anything other than being a good teammate making plays for my teammates and helping us win.

"That's all I want to do."
