Report: Marcell Dareus scoffs at Bills' 6-year, $90-million-plus extension offer

The Buffalo Bills have offered defensive tackle Marcell Dareus a six-year contract worth more than $90 million, according to Vic Carruci of The Buffalo News.

The deal would extend Dareus through 2021, and make him one of the highest-paid defensive players in the game.

Dareus, however, said the offer indicates the Bills aren't interested in keeping him around, telling Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News he feels like the deal would make him a "dime a dozen."

"They’re making it hard," Dareus said, according to Dunne. "And it’s just really making me unhappy. I feel like they don’t really want me here."

“They're playing," Dareus continued. "They're going back and forth. I play one game, they play this game. I know what I'm worth."

Dareus is entering his fifth season with the Bills after being selected third overall in the 2011 draft. He has 27 sacks over four seasons and is one of the best run-stuffing defensive linemen in the league.
