The St. Louis Rams have cut linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar.
Dunbar was once penciled in as a starter for the Rams, after playing a key role for the team over the past three seasons.
The 30-year-old recorded 36 tackles in 15 games in 2015. He started 10 of those games, standing out as a run defender.
The move reflects the level of depth the Rams have on defense, with James Laurinaitis, Alec Ogletree, and Akeem Ayers all in the mix at linebacker.
