White underwent a minor surgical procedure on the elbow Aug. 23, but his return was always expected to be this week.
Assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks, White should be on the field opposite Julio Jones for the Falcons' season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.
