Report: Joseph Fauria visits Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals might have found a solution for their depleted tight end group.
Arizona hosted Joseph Fauria for a visit Wednesday, according to FOX Sports' Mike Jurecki. Fauria recorded six receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown in seven games with the Detroit Lions last season.
The third-year pro was released by the Lions on Saturday.
Troy Niklas and Jermaine Gresham are still fighting off hamstring injuries and are gradually acclimating to practice, while Ifeanyi Momah tore his meniscus and is expected to undergo season-ending surgery Thursday.
Ahead of Sunday's opener, Darren Fells may be the only healthy tight end left on the roster.
