Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was wearing a heavy protective wrap around his right throwing elbow during a brief appearance in the locker room Monday.

Stafford didn't go into details on the injury, but said he'll "be good to go" next Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

The quarterback took a significant hit from a blitzer during the third quarter, and wore a sleeve on his right arm for the remainder of the game versus the San Diego Chargers.

After the game, head coach Jim Caldwell made note on the sleeve, "Once he got hit, it was just a way of keeping him going."

While Stafford doesn't appear concerned about his ability to play, it remains to be seen how much discomfort he'll be in Sunday and how much it could affect his play.
