Bills' Rex Ryan after loss to Patriots: 'Bill Belichick out-coached me'

The Buffalo Bills failed to meet head coach Rex Ryan's expectations Sunday, suffering a 40-32 defeat at home against the New England Patriots.

Ryan took responsibility for the loss after the game.

"This loss is squarely on my shoulders. I have to get better. Belichick out-coached me. No question about it," Ryan said to reporters during his postgame press conference.

Tom Brady put together an excellent performance, going 38-of-59 for 466 yards and three touchdowns. Brady's 466 yards were the most passing yards the Bills surrendered in 53 years and Ryan was none too pleased.

"I'm taking it personal ... What did they pass for, 500 yards?" Ryan said.

Buffalo's defense didn't have an answer for Brady, one week after neutralizing Indianapolis' Andrew Luck. With Belichick, Brady, and tight end Rob Gronkowski in top form, Ryan likely won't be the lone coach frustrated by the defending Super Bowl champions.
