New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker will be held out of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles as he continues to deal with a knee injury, according to multiple reports.

Decker was unable to practice throughout the week after being forced to the sideline in New York's win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night.

Having been listed as questionable and initially considered to be a game-time decision, the veteran wideout could conceivably have an opportunity to return to the field by Week 4.

Rookie Devin Smith, who appears set to make his NFL debut after missing the first two weeks of the season with a rib injury, should immediately take on a contributing role alongside Brandon Marshall in Decker's absence.
