VIDEO: Weeden throws embarrassing INT after setting Cowboys record for completions
Brandon Weeden has thrown his way into the Dallas Cowboys' record books.
Tony Romo's fill-in started Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons by going 9-of-9 passing, giving him a franchise-record 21 consecutive completions dating back to last season.
His streak wasn't long for this world after he set the record, however. Weeden's 10th pass attempt of the game was a terribly thrown interception that landed in the hands of William Moore.
The interception led to a Falcons touchdown and dropped Weeden's line on the day to 9-of-10 for 105 yards. He would finish 22-of-26 for 232 yards, improving his career completion percentage to 57.2 percent.
Along with Weeden's nine consecutive completions Sunday, he threw seven in a row to close out Week 2's victory, had a single completion in Weeks 11 and 16 last season, and completed his final three passes in a Week 9 start.
