Report: Arian Foster to be game-time decision vs. Falcons
The Houston Texans will wait until 90 minutes before kickoff Sunday to decide whether running back Arian Foster will make his 2015 debut, ESPN's Ed Werder reports.
In other words, Foster will be a game-time decision.
He underwent groin surgery in early August and is ahead of schedule in his recovery progress, but he still hasn't practiced in full. Whether he does this week will be a strong indication of his chances of suiting up Sunday.
Complicating matters for the Texans is the fact they have a short week ahead. They travel to play the Atlanta Falcons before hosting the Indianapolis Colts next Thursday night.
Foster may have difficulty making his debut and then experiencing such a quick turnaround, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the Texans decide to keep him inactive for one more game before unleashing him in prime time.
