Raiders favored to win for first time in 27 games
It's been tough to be an Oakland Raiders' fan in the past few ... decades, but things are finally looking up.
They have a franchise quarterback in Derek Carr, a defensive monster in Khalil Mack, and a future superstar in wide receiver Amari Cooper.
And now, for the first time in 27 games, the Raiders opened as favorites to win an NFL game, as reported by Bill Williamson of ESPN.
They are currently two-point favorites to beat the Chicago Bears in Week 4.
You have to go back to the 2013 season to find the last time they were favored in a game, which ended up being a 49-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Sitting at 2-1, optimism is starting to creep in, and Raiders fans are daring to dream.
Could they be favored for two weeks running?
No. They face the Denver Broncos in Week 5.
