Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Josh Scobee is hanging on to his job by a very thin thread.
The veteran missed two kicks down the stretch during Thursday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Scobee was acquired via trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the offseason. The Steelers gave up a sixth-round pick in exchange for the 10-year vet.
In Week 1, Scobee missed two field goals against the New England Patriots, but was backed by head coach Mike Tomlin, who said he was "unconcerned" at the time. In Week 2, Scobee missed an extra point.
After Thursday's performance, Tomlin may be concerned, as Scobee has now made just 6-of-10 field goals on the season.
