Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles left Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears after suffering a knee injury and did not return.
The immediate fear is that Charles tore his ACL, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. Charles will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the suspected diagnosis.
Charles took a handoff, made a cut, and seemed to fall to the ground without contact.
After lying on the ground and clutching his leg for several seconds, Charles was helped off the field by trainers.
