Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith has a chance to get back in the lineup for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Head coach John Harbaugh was unsure about Smith's practice availability leading up to Week 6, but he was optimistic about the veteran's chances of suiting up for the game.
"I'm hopeful," Harbaugh said Monday. "Very hopeful."
Smith suffered a back injury during the team's Week 4 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was forced to miss Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns.
The Ravens' top receiving threat totaled 29 receptions for 373 yards and two touchdowns through the team's first four games.
With Smith sitting out, Kamar Aiken led the team with 78 receiving yards in Week 5.
