Jon Beason is not happy about a shove in the back from San Francisco 49ers guard Alex Boone he says led to his concussion.
The New York Giants linebacker may miss Monday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles after sustaining a concussion in a Week 5 win over the 49ers.
"I mean it's hard enough to stay healthy in this league," Beason said Friday, according to Daniel Popper of The New York Daily News. "I think it was a coward move."

The play is especially frustrating for Beason, who has struggled to stay on the field throughout the last four seasons of his career. He's missed 40 games during that span.
"I can honestly say that if I hadn't gotten pushed in the back, I wouldn't have been concussed," Beason said. "It's unfortunate when another player, Alex Boone to be exact, can reach out, grab you from behind, and then deliberately push you in the back."
A clearly upset Beason ended by saying, "I hope it goes back to him. And that's how I feel."
"I'm sorry he feels that way." Boone responded, according to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle. "I've never thought of myself as a dirty player."
