The ongoing saga of which artist will perform at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show has another chapter.
Maroon 5 are the new front-runners for the spot, according to E!
Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars are among those previously linked to the high-profile gig.
Of course, it's always possible we'll see all three artists on the stage. The Super Bowl halftime show almost always includes at least one "special guest."
Super Bowl 50 will be played at Levi's Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016. It will air on CBS.
