Chargers' Antonio Gates out vs. Raiders; Melvin Gordon active

The San Diego Chargers will be without tight end Antonio Gates for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Gates was listed as questionable with a knee injury he sustained in the fourth quarter of the Chargers' Week 6 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He didn't practice all week.
The good news for the Chargers is that running back Melvin Gordon, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, is active.
Safety Eric Weddle, center Chris Watt, linebacker Manti Te'o, cornerback Craig Mager, offensive tackle Tyreek Burwell, and linebacker Tourek Williams have all been ruled out.
