Bills' McCoy may need MRI on shoulder, says he'll be fine for Thursday game
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy will likely need an MRI to determine the severity of a shoulder injury sustained Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
However, McCoy was fully confident in his ability to suit up for Thursday's game against the New York Jets.
"We'll treat it up. I should be fine for Thursday's game," McCoy told reporters postgame.
McCoy left the game in the fourth quarter after being tackled by Ndamukong Suh. Prior to leaving the game, McCoy rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for seven yards.
The Bills emerged with a 33-17 victory.
McCoy also said he would've re-entered the game if the score was closer.
"I know he wanted to go back in the game, so that's a good sign," Bills head coach Rex Ryan said.
