Now in his 16th season in the NFL, Tom Brady is no stranger to taking hard hits.
After being punished with a few in Monday's victory over the Buffalo Bills, the 38-year-old New England Patriots quarterback revealed that his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, wonders about his choice to stay in the game despite the abuse he takes.
"She says that to me all the time, definitely," said Brady, according to NESN's Sam Galanis. "She said that to me (Tuesday) night as a matter of fact."
Considering his undefeated team has a solid chance at yet another Super Bowl, the answer as to why Brady continues to play - despite him not saying so - shouldn't be too difficult to discern.
